Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Execute pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
• Provide information consultation duties such as supporting new and refill prescriptions, patient requests, physician requests, monitoring drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
• Engage in quality improvement duties: drug storage inspection, review of expired supplies, and production of error and workload reports.
• Handle supply process duties: placing new orders, stocking, and restocking.

Your Qualifications

• State license or certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Completion of a formal pharmacy technician program or a formal medical services training program of the United States Military.
• Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Maintain BLS certification (American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Course C or American Red Cross CPR/BLS Course).
