Spectrum Healthcare Resources, Inc. is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician at Offutt Air Force Base in Offutt, Nebraska. The role supports outpatient pharmacy operations and focuses on patient care with minimal cash-handling responsibilities.

Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm. You will dispense prescriptions, process refills, enter orders, review drug interactions, and report adverse events while maintaining licensing standards and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• State license or PTCB certification as required.
• At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Maintain BLS certification to ensure readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Fill outpatient prescriptions, refills, and enter orders into databases.
• Support new and refill prescriptions, patient requests, physician requests, monitor drug interactions, and report adverse drug reactions.
• Quality improvement: drug storage inspection, review expired supplies, and produce error/workload reports.
• Supply process: place new orders and stocking/restocking.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
• Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
• Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician's requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
• Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
• Perform supply process duties including placing new orders stocking/restocking.

Your Qualifications

• Educational Excellence: State license or certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Completion of a formal pharmacy technician program (i.e., technical, hospital, or retail-based program) or a formal medical services training program of the United States Military.
• Experience: Bring at least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience to the team.
• Life Support: Maintain BLS certification to ensure you're always ready to provide essential care. The HCW must maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C) or the American Red Cross CPR/BLS Course.
