Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role in Kansas City, MO. The position supports a 100% employee-owned, closed-door pharmacy team serving individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with a short Saturday rotation from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. The job involves filling prescriptions, operating automated packaging, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with care teams.

Formación

• Active state pharmacy technician registration (or ability to obtain before first day).
• National CPhT certification or willingness to become certified shortly after hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Looking for a pharmacy technician role outside of traditional retail? At Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, our technicians work behind the scenes as part of a close-knit team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

The Day-to-Day

• Fill and prepare prescriptions
• Operate our automated med-cup packaging system
• Enter and maintain accurate prescription information
• Communicate with clients and care teams by phone
• Work alongside pharmacists and other technicians to keep medications accurate and on time

Requirements

• Active pharmacy technician registration in the state of employment, or ability to obtain before your first day
• National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT), or willingness to become certified shortly after hire
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work the posted schedule, including rotating Saturdays
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
