Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Kansas City, MO. The role supports IDs and behavioral health patients behind the scenes with a small, dedicated team.

You will fill prescriptions, operate an automated med-cup packaging system, and communicate with care teams to ensure accuracy and timely medication delivery. The position offers a weekday schedule with rotating Saturdays and generous PTO.

Qualifications

Active pharmacy technician registration in the state of employment or ability to obtain before first day.
National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or willingness to obtain shortly after hire.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Fill and prepare prescriptions.
Operate automated med-cup packaging system.
Enter and maintain accurate prescription information.
Communicate with clients and care teams by phone.
Work with pharmacists and other technicians to keep medications accurate and on time.

Looking for a pharmacy technician role outside of traditional retail? At Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, our technicians work behind the scenes as part of a close-knit team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs.

The Day-to-Day

Fill and prepare prescriptions

Operate our automated med-cup packaging system

Enter and maintain accurate prescription information

Communicate with clients and care teams by phone

Work alongside pharmacists and other technicians to keep medications accurate and on time
