Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a contract assignment with one of our top healthcare clients. You will work closely with the Pharmacist to ensure accurate processing of prescription requests received electronically, in person and by phone.

The role requires a high school diploma and Pharmacy Technician Certification; hospital pharmacy experience and PC proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be able to use computer systems and pharmacy software.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process prescription requests received electronically, in person and via telephone.
• Collaborate with Pharmacist and staff to resolve pharmacy-related issues for clients.

Duties Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician works closely with the Pharmacist and the Pharmacy staff and is responsible for accurate processing of prescription requests received electronically, in person and via the telephone.

• Accurately process orders for prescription food and medication.
• Work collaboratively with staff to effectively resolve client issues and concerns regarding pharmacy issues.
