Ernest Health, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join the Duval Regional Rehabilitation Hospital team.

This full-time on-site role supports pharmacists with medication preparation, inventory, and data entry to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, state certification/registration (preferred), and hospital pharmacy experience or national certification (PTCB) is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, unless registered as a Pharmacy Technician by the State Board.
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• National certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.
• Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs.
• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.
• Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.
• Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
