The role involves handling medications, data entry, and patient-focused service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, state certification, and familiarity with pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• National certification (PTCB) preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.
• Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs.
• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.
• Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

is a modern, 48-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving the greater Jacksonville area. The facility is dedicated to helping patients regain independence following serious illness or injury through individualized rehabilitation programs led by experienced clinical teams. Services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy supported by advanced medical oversight.
