Qualifications

  • High School/GED required for Certified Pharmacy Technician; preferred for State Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • At least one (1) year of pharmacy technician experience required for Certified Pharmacy Technician; preferred for State Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • A valid, unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required

Responsibilities

  • Support prescription processing, including entering physician orders and preparing medications for pharmacist review
  • Assist with medication dispensing and packaging
  • Maintain accurate inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies
  • Support controlled substance tracking, audits, and compliance activities
  • Transport medications and pharmacy supplies to partner locations as needed
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and care teams to ensure coordinated service delivery
  • Assist with billing records, reporting, and general documentation
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Reporting To: Sara Fietsam

Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 / hour

Description

Be a vital part of delivering safe, high-quality pharmacy care that supports wellness and strengthens communities.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure accurate, efficient medication services. This role plays an important part in maintaining medication inventory, preparing prescriptions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to promote safe and effective pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Licensure / Certification
Applicants must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

State Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • Must possess and maintain a State Pharmacy Technician Registration. If not obtained, must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire.

OR

Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • Must possess and maintain a Pharmacy Technician National Certification.
