UnitedHealth Group's Genoa Healthcare division in Fairfield, CA, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing prescriptions and related clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. This role covers travel up to 10% to nearby locations such as San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and Sacramento.

The position emphasizes customer service, inventory management, and adherence to federal/state requirements, with hours Mon-Thu 8:30am-5:00pm and Fri 8:30am-4:30pm, including a lunch break.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in California.
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

We seek a Pharmacy Technicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: Monday through Thursdays between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm and Fridays between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm

Location: 500 Chadbourne Rd. Suite B231, Fairfield, CA 94534 with ability to travel up to 10% to cover callouts and PTO at other location in the area as needed (locations include San Francisco, Santa Rosa and Sacramento)

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
