Job summary

A national healthcare staffing firm is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to fill in-patient medication orders, prepare medications, and assist pharmacists. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and complete a pharmacy tech training program. This role requires prior experience in a pharmacy environment. Job Description

• Fills in-patient medication orders in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepares and packages bulk medications for unit dose dispensing not packaged by the Pak Plus technician.
• Assists the Pharmacist in implementing the narcotic control system.
• Operates Robot-Rx to fill the unit dose cassette medications drawers and first doses.
• Maintain AcuDose cabinets
• Performs the clerical functions associated with the pharmacy activity.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous work in a pharmacy environment.

Additional Information

Length of Assignment: 16 weeks of contract

Shifts: 5 days a week/ 6 hours day shift / guaranteed 30 hours a week
