Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Pharmacy Technician for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients.

The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with the Pharmacist and staff to accurately process prescription requests received electronically, in person, and via the telephone, ensuring timely and compliant service. Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an associate's degree preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience and PC use preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription requests accurately received electronically, in person, and by telephone.
• Process orders for prescription foods and medications; resolve client issues with staff.

Duties Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician works closely with the Pharmacist and the Pharmacy staff and is responsible for accurate processing of prescription requests received electronically, in person and via the telephone.

• Accurately process orders for prescription food and medication.
• Work collaboratively with staff to effectively resolve client issues and concerns regarding pharmacy issues.
