Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Chico, CA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the mental health pharmacy, dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under a Registered Pharmacist. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with lunch 12:00pm–1:00pm.

Location: 560 Cohasset Rd., Ste 110, Chico, CA 95926. Responsibilities include customer service, verifying prescriptions, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with federal/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California Pharmacy Technician license.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
