Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under a Registered Pharmacist. The role supports behavioral health and specialty pharmacy services within a collaborative care team. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm at 3057 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC.

Pay ranges from $16–$29 per hour. Requires NC license, 1+ year experience, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clinic staff and patients.
• Fill prescription orders under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify stock and update inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties for the department.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally make deliveries to post office or bank.

We seek aPharmacy Technicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (Lunch 12:30pm – 1pm)

Location:3057 Freedom Dr Suite 116, Charlotte, NC 28208

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to make deliveries to post office or bank once a week

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of North Carolina
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tech savvy
• Retail, long-term care, or specialty pharmacy technician experience
