We are looking to hire a Full Time Pharmacy Technician for our growing pharmacy team here in Cabot!

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for filling routine dosage orders and prepackaged pharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist.

This is a full-time position, daylight position, with a M-F schedule and rotating Saturday shift, and pays up to $18.50 an hour at starting!

Pharmacy Technician Qualifications:

• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (C.Ph.T.) preferred
• 1-3 years experience preferred
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical/medical terminology, generic/trade names of commonly prescribed drugs, pharmacy laws/regulations, aseptic techniques a plus
• Basic working knowledge of computer software
• Prepare medications for dispensing by filling new and refill medication orders
• Prepare compounded pharmaceutical products according to the computer-generated and/or pharmacist approved formulation record including proper labeling and expiration dating
• Maintain inventory control, which includes maintaining stock of medications, monitoring expiration dates, and ordering replacements
• Enter inventory data into the computer system
• Reconciles orders upon receipt and puts stock away
• Assist with the handling of returns per company policy
• Clean workspace and equipment according to prescribed methods
