Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our Senior Pharmacy, a long-term care unit delivering high-quality medication care to residents and patients.

You will enter prescriptions, assist the Pharmacist, label medications, and coordinate with nurses and delivery drivers to ensure timely cycles. A strong customer service mindset and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Skills: Customer service, computer proficiency, and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information relating to the needs of individual patients
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri upon hire
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and standing

Responsibilities

• Entering new prescription orders, refill requests, and patient profile updates into the pharmacy computer system
• Assisting the Pharmacist with communication to patients and providers
• Preparing and labeling medications for dispensing
• Coordinates directly with facility nurses, billing supervisors, and delivery drivers to ensure timely medication cycles and resolve delivery issues
• Assuring adequate supplies of medications are available
• Delivering meds to patients, nursing units, and LTC facilities

Senior Pharmacy is a long-term carepharmacy that provides exceptional and safe care for our patients. Our team works closely with providers, nursing staff and other facility staff to ensure our residents and patients receive the highest quality of care and live their best lives.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be:
