Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy operations in Billings, MT. You will dispense prescriptions and perform necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a noon lunch. Sign-on bonus available for external applicants and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies this role.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in MT.
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US Driver's License.
• Ability to use your own car to make deliveries when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinics.
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under direct supervision of the pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records in the system.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Maintain strong professional verbal and written communication.

We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm

Location: 3737 Grand Ave. Suite 6, Billings, MT 59102

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic


• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist


• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies


• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders


• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records


• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements


• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department


• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills


• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
