Job summary

Advanced Care Hospital of Montana in Billings is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team of patient caregivers. As a participating hospital of Ernest Health, we offer robust recognition, wellness, and retention programs and a supportive work environment.

You will retrieve, count, and measure drugs, assist pharmacists with price-checking and restocking, and manage prescription information in the computer system, while upholding our mission and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; state board registration preferred.
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• National certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs.
• Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs.
• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.
• Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist.
• Integrates the hospital's mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred
• Hospital experience preferred
• National certification (PTCB) preferred
