Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, act as a liaison between the pharmacy and village clinics, and help with ordering and dispensing functions.
You will enter prescriptions, package medications, manage stock, and participate in quality improvement. A high school diploma or GED and pharmacy experience are preferred; valid driver’s license preferred; competitive benefits offered.

This position will assist the pharmacists and act as a liaison between the pharmacy and the village clinics.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Must pass basic math quiz.
Minimum Experience: Pharmacy technician experience preferred. Past work experience should include customer service and/or detail-oriented positions.
License, Certification, Registration: Valid driver's license preferred.
Equipment/Tools: Office equipment (i.e., computers, multi-line telephone, fax machine, etc.)
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to speak Yup'ik is preferred.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
