Job summary

Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support Penobscot Community Health Center in Bangor. You'll work with pharmacists and clinic staff to accurately dispense medications and maintain records, inventory, and equipment.

Must have high school diploma, recent pharmacy tech experience, and Maine State Board of Pharmacy registration. The role offers a full-time schedule Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with competitive pay and benefits.

Looking for an opportunity to grow as a pharmacy professional in a nationally recognized FQHC? PCHC is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to serve at Penobscot Community Health Center in Bangor! In this role, you'll work within integrated care teams to provide high-quality care and service to our patients. You'll partner with pharmacists and other pharmacy and clinic team members to accurately dispense medications and maintain inventory, equipment, and records. You must have spectacular customer service, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to maintain a safe and clean environment. Pharmacy Technician experience is also required.

Schedule

Full-Time, Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Mondays & Weekends off)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician required
• Registered with the Maine State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician required
• Having a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required. Any concerns raised by the results of a driving record check will be subject to an individualized review to determine whether the infraction is relevant to the individual's ability to perform the responsibilities of the position in accordance with PCHC's Automobile Safety and Background Check Policy.
