Genoa Healthcare in Alabama is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health and specialty pharmacy functions, primarily dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm CST with a lunch break. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to patient care within a coordinated care team.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Alabama Pharmacy Technician license.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescription orders and prepare them for verification under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Receive and process wholesale medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and update inventory records in the computer.
• Assist the Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and regulatory compliance.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.

We seek aPharmacy Technicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm CST with lunch from 12:30pm-1:00pm CST

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
