Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support patient care as an integral part of the hospital pharmacy team. You will maintain medication storage, prepare medications, and interact with hospital personnel to ensure accurate dispensing and safety.

Responsibilities include transporting medications, managing dispensing cabinet routines, reducing waste, and assisting with cost-effective drug supplies while upholding security and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician License (PharmTech) required.
  • CPhT certification required within 6 months of start date.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Job Summary

  • Perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines, help manage drug supplies cost‑effectively, and identify opportunities to minimize waste.
Qualifications
  • Pharmacy Technician License (PharmTech).
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • High School Graduate or GED.
