Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician at Alaska Regional Hospital, you will use your skills and compassion to support patient care as an integral part of the hospital pharmacy team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain medication storage and security.
- Interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.
- Accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.
- Transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.
- Perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines, help manage drug supplies cost‑effectively, and identify opportunities to minimize waste.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician License (PharmTech).
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- High School Graduate or GED.
