Job summary

Riverwood Healthcare Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in the Retail Pharmacy Department under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role follows written procedures and complies with state and federal regulations, with scheduling across all Riverwood Retail locations.

Ideal candidates hold a CPhT through PTCB and have extensive retail pharmacy tech experience, plus current Minnesota Board of Pharmacy registration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED earned.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB is required.
• Extensive retail pharmacy technician experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities of the Retail Pharmacy Department under the licensed pharmacist.
• Operate in accordance with written procedures, guidelines, and state/federal regulations.
• Occasionally scheduled at all Riverwood Healthcare retail locations.

The technician functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. This person will occasionally be scheduled at all retail pharmacy locations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).
• Extensive retail pharmacy technician experience required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.

M-F 0830-1700, Sat 0830-1230. This position would usually work 4 days per week (Wed or Thurs off usually) and an occasional Saturday. This position would have opportunity to pick up extra shift in Garrison, Aitkin, McGregor occasionally.

FTE: 0.8 (64 hours PPP)
