Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, PA, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Trainee to assist with order entry preparation and distribution of drug products under pharmacist supervision. Maintain inventory and ensure proper control of purchases and distribution.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma and must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy. This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with the order entry preparation and distribution of drug products under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Maintains appropriate inventory of drug supplies and a system of control to ensure the integrity of the purchases, control of supplies and proper accounting for their distribution.
