HomeTown Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for Long-Term Care on a full-time, on-site basis at 112 E Main St. This role offers a board-approved Technician Program allowing licensure across the state.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, multitasks well, and enjoys helping customers. Duties include team collaboration, welcoming customers, accurate data entry for billing, and maintaining a safe, compliant pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multitask, and enjoys working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Working as a collaborative team member to meet the service goals of the pharmacy
• Create a welcoming environment by greeting all customers and providing quick and efficient service
• Accurately enter patient information into the pharmacy database to assist with proper billing
• Maintain a safe pharmacy environment by adhering to health code guidelines and corporate standards.
• Working knowledge of all departments: Delivery, Dispensing, Data-Entry, Billing, and answering to the supervisor within each of those Departments.
• An understanding of pharmacy terminology including both generic and brand name drug names
• Knowledge of legal requirements for prescriptions
• Knowledge of Medical Record Information
