Job summary

SSM Health Beaver Dam Clinic is seeking a Pharmacy Technician—Specialized Role to lead workflows and drive process improvements within a dedicated ministry. The role emphasizes advanced duties beyond standard technicians, with 80% of time in the specialized function, including technology, automation, and purchasing.

You will work under a pharmacist, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate to implement operational changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years’ experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily services and functions of the specialized role within assigned ministry.
• Serves as a resource in the specialized area for other ministry team members.
• Complies with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Conducts reviews and audits of specialized area and reports KPIs.
• Collaborates with department leaders to educate and train team members.
• Acts as liaison to regional pharmacy teams and communicates changes.
• Provides excellent customer service while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
