Walmart Sam's Club in Cheektowaga, NY is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the prescription fulfillment process, assist patients, and maintain a compliant pharmacy area. You will work with pharmacists to process third‑party claims, enter data, and handle pickups with care and accuracy.

Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, and ensuring safe, efficient service while following all state and federal regulations. Strong attention to detail and customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician; must obtain PTCE or ExCPT within 9 months.
• Pharmacy tech certification/registration as required by state boards.
• Experience with prescription fulfillment processes and insurance claims is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in prescription fulfillment and processing third-party insurance claims.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and maintain patient records.
• Provide patient service at pickup window and resolve issues timely.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the pharmacy area.
• Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of medications.
