Meijer in Greenville, AL is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will retrieve medications, input prescriptions, label drugs, and handle insurance claims while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Input patient and prescription data into the pharmacy system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork for fillings and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medications.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
• Communicate effectively and act as a change agent.
