Responsibilities

  • Retrieve appropriate medications from inventory.
  • Enter customer and prescription data in the dispensing system.
  • Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
  • Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
  • Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
  • Stock prescription medications.
  • Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure timely service.
  • Use effective communication and act as an agent of change.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, professional pharmacy appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
