Job summary

Ardent Health Services is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Amarillo, TX. In this role, you will assist pharmacists with medication preparation and pharmacy operations while contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
• 1 year of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations and participate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• The pharmacy technician I, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical and non‑clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
• Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
• Does related work, as required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by the state of employment.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1 year of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment).
• Current BLS.
