Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Fill prescriptions, non-sterile compounds and prepare IVs under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions and coordinate timely delivery to the customer.
• Assist in maintaining good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies.
• Work with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean and safe work environment and checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
