Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician in Bowling Green, KY to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient service. You will follow SOPs, assist in immunizations where permitted, and help maintain inventory while focusing on patient care and quality.
The role requires compliance with state board regulations, completion of required training, and a willingness to travel within the market as needed.
Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
- If the state board does not address minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
Responsibilities
- Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
- Complete required training within designated timeframe.
- Concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
- Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
- Provide friendly, customer-focused service and assist patients at pick-up and drive-thru.
- Assist with inventory activities and help stock medications.
- Support the pharmacy team and expand clinical and technical knowledge as needed.
- Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as required.
