Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to assist the Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.

You will perform technical duties in handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals and demonstrate proficiency in two or more pharmacy function areas.

You will provide patient care services for neonate through geriatric patients and support daily operations within a daytime schedule (8am–4:30pm). Experience in a hospital pharmacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
