Meijer Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team in Michigan. The role emphasizes patient care, excellent customer service, and adherence to clinical guidelines while delivering measurable health outcomes.

The pharmacist will perform dispensing, insurance adjudication, immunizations where allowed, and other pharmacy duties in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality for all patients we serve.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Registered and/or licensed as required in the state of practice.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Teamwork and reliability.
• Attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at service points.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Input customer and prescription data into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Retrieve medications from inventory and stock shelves.
• Complete paperwork for prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Provide immunizations where permitted.
• Maintain a clean and professional pharmacy environment.
