Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or meets state requirements.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Input customer and prescription data into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medications.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and maintain efficient service.
• Communicate effectively and act as a change agent.
• Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy and ensure patient confidentiality.
