Job summary

Meijer is seeking a pharmacy team member in Illinois to interact with patients, process prescriptions, and support clinical services. Responsibilities

• Interact with patients at service points of contact.

• Fill prescriptions and process drug orders paperwork.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medications.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy.
• Protect patient confidentiality.
• Work is compliant with state licensure requirements or Meijer training.

What You'll be Doing:

• Level 2
• Interacting with patients at various service points of contact.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Effective communication skills and agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean, and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
• Licensed in their respective state if required.
• Successful completion of Meijer Employer based training if licensure is not required in their respective state.

The pay range for this position is listed below.

$18.00 - $23.35

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Your specific pay rate within this range will be based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team you'll be joining.
