Job summary

Meijer is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Wisconsin pharmacy team. You will provide patient-centered care, verify prescriptions, and manage daily dispensing operations.

In this role you will input data, adjudicate insurance, supervise staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance while maintaining confidentiality and a friendly, professional environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Retail/Community practice experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Proficient typing and neat handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory.
• Input patient and prescription data into the dispensing system.
• Prepare prescription labels and process insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork for filled prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy.
• Stock medications and maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and communicate effectively.

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
