Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to support patient care in our community-focused pharmacy. You will retrieve medications, process prescriptions, generate labels, and help with insurance claims and compliance.

You will work in a friendly environment with weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, education assistance, and opportunities for advancement within our pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication skills and be agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
