Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan seeks a licensed Pharmacist to join our friendly, community-focused team.

You will retrieve medications from inventory, input patient and prescription data, create labels, adjudicate insurance, and help ensure accurate, efficient dispensing while maintaining patient confidentiality. You bring a high school diploma or GED, retail/community pharmacy experience, excellent customer service, a positive attitude, neat penmanship, and strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication skills and be agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
