Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our store team. You will support pharmacists in accurate prescription fulfillment, patient interactions, and participating in immunization and care services as allowed by state laws.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, strong communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Training and licensing requirements must be met, with flexibility for scheduling and shifts across stores within the market.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly, confirm prescription information and label accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication, active listening.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute tablets, days’ supply, and bottle counts.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical Demands: mobile, lift up to 20 lbs, stand for extended periods.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
