Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering accurate prescriptions and compassionate customer service. The role includes following SOPs, assisting with inventory, and providing immunization support where allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy rules and licensing requirements.
• Minimum age per state regulations where applicable; often 16+ in some states.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy tech certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation and assist pharmacists as needed.
• Provide empathetic customer service and answer patient questions.
• Assist with inventory tasks such as delivery intake, cycle counts, and returns.
• Participate in ongoing training and adapt to store scheduling needs.
