Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician III to aid a registered pharmacist with essential dispensing support activities. You will collect, input, and verify prescription and patient data, receive and stock supplies, and may prepare labels and routine prepacked orders.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of experience, SCBOP registration, and PTCB certification. At least 2 years in pharmacy tech and sterile compounding preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year experience.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the SC Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP) and a national certification by the PTCB are required and must be maintained.
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience and sterile compounding preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist a registered pharmacist with dispensing processes.
• Collect input and verify prescription, refill, and patient information.
• Receive and stock incoming supplies and prepare labels.
• May perform clerical duties related to the department.
