Redlands Community Hospital - PHARMACY is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacist under the Director of Pharmacy. This role provides knowledge and skills in the Pharmacy Department to help ensure patients receive safe, appropriate drug therapy across all ages in a hospital setting.

Job description

Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, thisposition is assigned to providing the knowledge and skills in the PharmacyDepartment to support the Pharmacist in assuring Redlands Community Hospitalpatients' quality and safety in age specific drug therapy.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

1. Knowledge of both medical terminology and drug nomenclature
2. Previous hospital experience preferred
3. Experience with compounding sterile products
4. Experience with compounding chemotherapy preparation preferred
5. Experience with controlled substance audits preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

1. Current California Pharmacy Technician license or Intern Pharmacist license
2. Current California driver's license required for transport. To drive a company vehicle, must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years and have a clean driving record per RCH insurance carrier
