Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support multiple retail locations in the Dayton area. The role involves assisting pharmacists with prescription filling, data entry, inventory monitoring and customer service both in person and by phone.

Candidates must be a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years of retail pharmacy experience and excellent communication skills. This position may involve work at various locations across the network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician credential is required.
• Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy technician experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in total prescription filling process including data entry, inventory monitoring, counting, labeling, ordering, stocking, filing and selling of prescribed and OTC products.
• OTC merchandising.
• Assist health care providers and patients in person and by phone; respond to questions and refer to pharmacist when appropriate.
• Comply with state and federal drug laws, KHN policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
