Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB certified and OH Board of Pharmacy certified.
• 1+ year of work experience as a Pharm Tech; 3+ years high-volume IV/specialty drug experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication Orders – prepares unit dose for cartfill and first doses; non-sterile/non-hazard dose prep for first fill or cartfill; delivers patient-specific doses.
• Compounding – performs sterile or non-sterile hazardous compounding.
• Tech Check Tech – under program can check work of another tech.
• Medication Management – manages medication doses on nursing unit in decentralized pharmacy operations.
• Phone Triage – performs inpatient phone triage.
