Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II in IDS to support preparation, packaging, distribution and documentation of study medications used in clinical trials.

You will help maintain inventory, ensure accurate records, and work with physicians, nurses and researchers in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Rotating days, evenings and nights required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician training program desirable.
• Current MD Board of Pharmacy registration as Pharmacy Technician and PTCB certification required.
• No experience required if certified and registered; hospital experience 3–6 months desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and packaging of medications.
• Distribute and deliver medications and maintain inventory levels.
• Keep accurate records and documentation for study medications used in clinical trials.
