Job summary

Prisma Health's Greer Medical Campus is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who supports pharmacist-driven care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will fill orders, handle inventory, work with automation, and ensure accurate medication preparation and dispensing.

No prior experience is required, with high school diploma and state registration/certification required within 2 years. You’ll join a collaborative team, adhere to regulatory standards, and contribute to courteous, efficient patient

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology.
• Basic math and data entry accuracy.
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and automation.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (DEA, BOP, DoH).
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and prepare medication orders; fill kits, trays, and automated dispensing cabinets.
• Operate electronic systems, enter patient charges, and handle controlled substances according to policy.
• Ensure timely delivery of medications to patient care areas and maintain clean work area.
• Provide excellent customer service and support as part of a compliant pharmacy team.
• Train and mentor new staff as needed.
