Major Hospital in Shelbyville, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist with processing medication orders, billing, and various pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventories and equipment, supporting sales of other products or services, and contributing to performance improvement efforts to maximize profits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required by Indiana State Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician License approved by the IN BOP.
• Must pass a math test during the interview.
• Indiana State Board of Pharmacy requires that a Pharmacy Technician shall "not have been convicted of a crime that has a direct bearing on their ability to work with legend of controlled drugs".
• May be asked to use personal automobile for MHP business and will be eligible for mileage reimbursement during the normal course of duties if safety criteria is met.

Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in processing medication orders, patient billing and accounts, sales of other products or services; assists in maintaining facilities, equipment and inventories; and contributes to performance improvement efforts to maximize profits and increase revenue.
