Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician at Burnet Campus in Cincinnati, OH. The role supports medication preparation, distribution, and inventory, collaborating with pharmacists and care teams to ensure safety and accuracy across units including Main Pharmacy and OR/CC Pharmacy.

Requires 6 months of tech experience, Ohio license or eligibility, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience.
• Be licensed as a pharmacy technician in the State of Ohio (or able to obtain within 18 months).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications accurately and efficiently.
• Support medication delivery for patient-specific doses across units.
• Replenish automated dispensing cabinets and maintain inventory.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile medications.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and care teams to ensure quality and safety.

Primary Location Burnet Campus Department Pharmacy Shift Rotating (United States of America) Schedule Part time Weekly Hours 20 FTE 0.5 Employee Status Regular *Expected Starting Pay Range $19.50 - $23.92 *Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN Location: Burnet Campus, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati OH 45229 Units: Main Pharmacy, Operating Room & Critical Care Pharmacy Schedule: Rotate on 1st & 2nd shift, Part-time, 2-3 shifts per week with every other weekend Pay: $21.50-$24.62 + $2.00/hour shift and $1.00/hour weekend differential
