Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes in Michigan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations. You will retrieve medications, enter patient and prescription data, and help with labeling and insurance claims while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

You will stock medications, assist customers, and promote pharmacy services in a fast-paced retail environment, upholding professional standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.

• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication to be an agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
