Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes in Michigan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and assist customers with prescriptions. You will handle administrative and service-based duties, input data into the dispensing system, and help maintain a clean, confidential, and compliant pharmacy environment.

No experience is required; training is provided. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 am–8:00 pm and weekends 9:00 am–6:00 pm, with weekly pay and benefits including education assistance and a team

Qualifications

• High School/GED or meets requirements in their state.
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.

• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.

Work a schedule of Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Saturday - Sunday between the hours of 9:00am - 6:00pm
